KearSARge is an application which calculates search patterns for use by aircraft. Supported search types include parallel track, creeping line, route, expanding square, sector, and CAP Grid. After the pattern has been calculated the waypoints can be copied to the clipboard and pasted into the moving map software of your choice (e.g. Garmin Pilot). The app also includes an internal database (no internet connectivity required) of airport and VOR identifiers which can be used as the initial fix (offsets are supported).This application is not endorsed by the Civil Air Patrol.
